  • Guest Speaker - Each quarter, we'll have an engineer from a different discipline tell you more about their career path and recommendations. 鼓励提问! 这 quarter we have Catrina Walter from WSP in Tacoma, WA. 

Catrina Walter is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Washington with over 15 years of experience in the design of waterfront and offshore facilities, including piers, wharves, container terminals, and floating concrete structures. 她的客户 have ranged from public ports and municipal ferry systems as well as the U.S. 海军 和美国海岸警卫队. She is an active member of the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI) and currently serves as Chair of the Prestressed Concrete Piling committee; as Chair, she is leading the efforts for the publication of the first ever PCI design standard on the design of precast prestressed piles.

Catrina holds a Masters in ‘structural 工程 & mechanics’ from North Carolina State University as well as an Associates of Science degree from Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte NC.
